Dr Jon Cooper
Consultant Physician with an interest in Stroke
Qualified at Liverpool in 1995 before undertaking general medical, geriatric and stroke training in Liverpool, Leeds and Bradford including The Stroke Association Clinical Fellowship in Stroke.
Appointed as Consultant in 2006 to consolidate the development and delivery of stroke services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals with emphasis on (acute) stroke patients over 65 years old. Dr Cooper works with Dr Peter Wanklyn on the Acute Stroke Unit at Leeds General Infirmary. Other (research) interests include epilepsy and seizures in older people.
