Dr Forster's research interests are stroke rehabilitation (particularly longer-term outcome), information provision and systematic reviews. In collaboration with colleagues a research unit has been established within the School of Healthcare Studies to undertake research with a particular emphasis on the nursing contribution to the care of patients and their families after stroke.
